Disney help We're leaving for Orlando on Wed. to visit friends and we're planning to spend a day at Magic Kingdom. I've waited until the last minute to find tickets--cheap tickets, that is. Does anyone know any sites that might sell cheap tickets? So far, I can get them at the gate for 63.90 by showing my FL driver's license. I can't even find a number to call to see if there's a military discount.

Allison--9 month check up She's really 10 months on Monday, but who's counting. I'm a little late b/c I spread out her shots. Anyway, she's still under 18 pounds. She hasn't gained a whole pound since we were there last time--over a month ago. The DR immediately asked me what I was feeding her. She said that A is fine. She just wanted to make sure that I WAS feeding her apparently. She's 75% height and 25% weight and head. Doc isn't concerned that she isn't crawling, doesn't respond to her name, and isn't pulling up. She CAN pull up. She did it holding on to the docs hands, she just doesn't. So, I was "encouraged" to encourage her. I've stood her a zillion times against a table or the tub o' toys, but she doesn't care. She stands for a bit and then hits the floor. Still the doc said she isn't worried. She said the thing about babies who don't crawl and reading skills is a wives tale. My last ped is the one who told me about that, so I'm confused. She wants me to get a push toy for Allison to practice with, but I think she's just going to fall down. I have one already. We can try it. It will give us something to do. She just isn't interested, but I think if she could/would move, she'd be less frustrated. Lately, Allison screams when we leave her in a room alone, but I just can't lug her everywhere. If she could/would move, she'd be able to follow me, like a little puppy, except cuter. She did great with her shot--no tears. Doc said she was smart but would just do things in her own time. It's so hard to be patient. I like that she's immoble b/c my life is easier, but I can't wait to see her crawl or walk. I want to know that she's just fine.

I'm a freak I almost feel strange writing this b/c it sounds crazy, but my dad visited again last night. I was in my bed reading and suddenly I got this very sweet smell. It stayed for a few minutes as I breathed it in and then vanished. I got two more whiffs in the next half hour. This isn't the first time this has happened. When I first came home, this happened a few times. I actually got out of bed searching for the potpourri packet, never to find one. I remember when my dad was dying, Mom and I smelled syrup a lot. When my friend came to visit last month she told me she kept smelling this clean powdery smell and couldn't find it. I had never told anyone about the random smells before. Her comments made me believe that I wasn't crazy. Since I have been home, I have honestly seen a dresser move as if it was bumped, and 2 toys have played by themselves when turned off and nothing was around them. I've had very specific dreams where we have talked about heaven and life. Am I crazy? Has anyone else experienced such things? Does this mean my dad isn't in heaven. According to my dreams he is. He said he could pop in and out, but didn't come back very often. Before he died, I asked him to visit me if he could and let me know when he was around. I have searched the web for more info, but find only crazy sites. Maybe that's because I AM crazy! Just curious if anyone else has had these kinds of experiences.
